Plumas County, California, spans over 2,600 square miles in Northern California but is home to only about 19,000 residents. It’s a place of breathtaking natural beauty and small, close-knit communities.

Living here comes with a unique balance of benefits and challenges. The benefits include a deep connection to nature, stunning landscapes, quiet surroundings, and a strong sense of community. The challenges involve housing availability, running a business, accessing specialized medical care, education, and finding certain types of work.
